Notre Dame Academy, Darjeeling, West Point is managed and run by the Sisters of Notre Dame, the same Congregation which manages the renowned Notre Dame Academy, Patna, Bihar – the Headquarters of Sisters of Notre Dame in India. Notre Dame Congregation brings with them many years of experience imparting sound pedagogy and holistic education to the students around the world.
NDA has a strong and efficient team of dedicated and committed Sisters, Teaching Staff and Non Teaching Staff and other collaborators. It is also well supported by a strong and loyal team of parents who are actively involved in all the activities of the school. The Student Council, a well - organised student body with leadership qualities assist the management in executing the daily tasks effectively in a smooth manner.
I am very happy that the Notre Dame Academy website is going to be launched very soon and I wish everyone who actively or otherwise contributed to the creation of this innovative venture. I invoke the Almighty who is the source of Wisdom and Knowledge and Mother Mary our Patroness and Protector of this school to be our guide and inspiration. As we forge ahead in the vision and mission entrusted to us in the Hills, I pray that many more students may receive a Holistic Education in all aspects of their lives.
I also wish and pray for all those who are privileged to serve the school in this noble and sublime work of co – creating, forming and moulding the young entrusted to our care may work selflessly and relentlessly for the betterment of this Institution to build a just, peaceful and humane society, spreading light and life to all those who come in contact with us.
